Alright?
Letâs be honest: life without Premier League football is less colourful. It blows. We hate it and we wish it would end. But thereâs no escaping the off-season purgatory, and if we have to serve our time, weâd rather do it with you.
Thatâs why weâve tried to make LazyFPLâs off-season lounge as nice as possible. Weâve stocked the bar with your favourite drink and hired a DJ who exclusively plays songs you used to listen to in the car on your childhood holidays. Donât ask us how we know.
Every Monday, weâll send you an email full of the stuff you mightâve missed whilst youâre busy enjoying the things that exist outside of FPL. Do let us know what they are if you happen to come across them.
These updates may include new transfers, managerial appointments, injury updates, and pre-season fixture analysis (like the Club World Cup).
Once the 25/26 FPL game launches (usually around early-mid July), weâll start building up to Gameweek 1, equipping you with everything you need to make the kind of start that really pisses off the chumps who agreed to compete against you.
Scratch your first line into the wall. Itâs week 1 of 11.

An oddly satisfying collectable.
This section is for people who finished the season ranked in the top 250,000 overall. If you didnât, commiserations - weâll circle back at the end of next season.
For those who did, congrats on a solid campaign. If you want to enshrine it with a small memento, our commemorative poker chips have become a bit of a cult hit amongst good managers.

We had a lot of this.
Youâve got 6 days left before we stop taking orders, so if you want to start (or continue) building your collection, order by clicking the button below.
(Youâll be supporting LazyFPL in the process, but donât let that put you off).

The big done-deals.
This section will only include transfers that have been confirmed by an official source.
We donât usually get to talk about confirmed transfers this early, but FIFA have created a âmini transfer windowâ ahead of the Club World Cup, which starts on 14th June.
Itâll close for a bit, then reopen on 16th June.
Matheus Cunha âĄď¸ Man United
If Hakuna Matata means no worries for the rest of your days, what does owning both Cunha and Mateta mean for your FPL team?
Thatâs one of many questions weâll be contemplating ahead of Gameweek 1 now that Cunha has moved to Manchester United.
He proved to be a valuable FPL prospect at Wolves, and given they finished on equal points last season, thereâs every chance he can be a valuable prospect again at Man United.
Jeremie Frimpong âĄď¸ Liverpool
Oh yes, things are about to get pongy in the Premier League.
Jeremie Frimpong has 43 goals and assists in the last five seasons for Leverkusen, but he doesnât always play right-back, which inflates those numbers a bit.
Heâs expected to replace the departing Trent Alexander-Arnold at right-back, but will face competition from Connor Bradley.
A good player with plenty of FPL potential. All eyes are on how heâll acclimatise to the Premier League.

Michael Kayode âĄď¸ Brentford
Kayode started Brentfordâs last six PL games at right back, notching one assist. He also has a long throw in his locker, which Brentford regularly milked towards the end of the season.
An attacking full-back, Kayode won the 2024 Italian Golden Boy Award, recognising him as the best Italian talent of the year.
He will likely compete with Aaron Hickey for the Brentford RB spot next season.

The rumour mill.
This section will include transfers that are strongly rumoured by reliable sources. We wonât include pure speculation, and will always try to verify the rumour with multiple sources.
Liam Delap âĄď¸ Chelsea
The big story emerging as we type is Liam Delap to Chelsea, which has been given the Romano treatment:

This could be an interesting one for FPL managers, most of whom spent at least a few minutes of last season contemplating whether they ought to bring in the Ipswich forward.
If all goes swimmingly and he does move to Chelsea, heâll certainly be one to look out for when the player pricing is released. A clinical striker who links up well with Cole Palmer could be significant for both players.
Caoimhin Kelleher âĄď¸ Brentford
With Mark Flekken on his way out, Brentford could do with a goalkeeper. Enter Liverpoolâs Caoimhin Kelleher, a name weâre hoping we wonât have to spell week in, week out.
According to multiple sources, a deal has been agreed for ÂŁ18m.
Florian Wirtz and Milos Kerkez âĄď¸ Liverpool
Slightly earlier in the process, but very much odds on to happen (according to Romano, amongst other sources). Agreements are being agreed, talks are being talked, and presumably plenty of private jets are landing in Liverpool as we speak.
Weâll bring you some FPL analysis of each if/when theyâre confirmed.

Two tools we like.
NeverGetFancy - Find out how many points you lost out on by not making Mohamed Salah your permanent captain last season.
FPL Optimized - Get loads of stats about your season. Who were your best players, how much did you benefit/get punished by luck, transfer quality analysis and loads more.
Here are The Professorâs predicted points (yellow line - based on underlying data) vs actual points (blue line). So he had some pretty bad luck.
