Gameweek 32 FPL Tips in 5 Minutes ā°

It's strange not to have to attach a "blank" or "double" prefix to Gameweek 32, but your eyes don't deceive you: Gameweek 32 has 10 fixtures, with all 20 teams playing just the once. Premier League football is normal again...but don't get too comfy.Whilst Gameweek 32 is conventional, the big FPL news ahead of the weekend is still fixture-related. Aside from the Double Gameweek next week, Gameweeks 36 and 37 have also been confirmed as doubles. Big 'uns, too.Double Gameweek 36 will see ten teams play twice, including Chelsea, Spurs, Liverpool and Arsenal. It's so big, in fact, that you probably don't need put in a huge amount of work to field a decent looking team.A further six teams will play twice in Double Gameweek 37, including Chelsea, Leicester, Everton and Aston Villa. Each of these teams will enjoy an elusive "double-double", playing four fixtures over the two gameweeks. That announcement, combined with the turmoil of Double Gameweek 33, means that poor, old, run-of-the-mill Gameweek 32 is sort of being neglected. Plenty of top managers are either saving a transfer, or making transfers purely to ready their teams for future gameweeks. The good news? All but one rearranged fixture has been scheduled now.The bad news? That remaining fixture happens to involve Man City...Let's look at some stats.

Liverpool will play the toughest (and most important) match of their season this week, which means many pundits will choose to embark on a rare departure from a Salah captaincy. The rebound is Harry Kane, who, if not for Salah's freakish prolificacy in front of goal this season, would almost certainly be the main man in our lives. His recent underlying stats (and actual FPL returns) have actually bettered that of the Egyptian's, so a visit to Aston Villa feels like a good time to put some faith in him.
